Mrs. Taylor was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and was preceded in death by her parents, Van and Lucile Palmer Braddy, and her husband, Melvin Taylor. She was a retired school teacher with the Montgomery County Board of Education and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Mt. Vernon.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Al Manning, Uvalda, Nancy and Allen McDonald, Soperton; brother, Gary (Barbara) Braddy, Mt. Vernon; five grandchildren, Ashley, Bobby and Taylor Manning, Uvalda, Steven and Bradlan McDonald, Soperton.
Services will be held in the First Baptist Church, Mt. Vernon at 2P.M. Tuesday October 7 with the Reverends John Stephens and Robert Wigley officiating. Burial will be in the Adams Cemetery, Montgomery County.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday at Sammons Funeral Home, Soperton.
