"Annie our sister"

Cenotaph; she was the only one of Patrick and Annie O'Connell's children to die and be buried in Ireland. Her brother Father Jeremiah said that "her remains, alone of her family, rest with those of her ancestors of a thousand years beneath the moss-covered, gray, desecrated walls of the ruined church at Matheha."
