Mrs. Lora Lue Parker Nichols, age 93, of Wilkesboro, widow of Royal Nichols died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at her home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014, at 11:00 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Helton, the Rev. Darrell Handy, Sr., and the Rev. Mark William officiating. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 Friday night.
Mrs. Nichols was born in Wilkes Co., NC on June 17, 1920, to Rance Pearl and Delonia Williams Parker.
Mrs. Nichols is survived by two daughters, Alice Ann Handy and Betty Mae Holland both of Wilkesboro; one step daughter, Mary Magalene White and husband, Phillip of Wilkesboro; one son, Claude Royal Johnson of Wilkesboro; two step sons, Michael Nichols and Edward Nichols and wife, Sandra all of North Wilkesboro; one brother, Carey Parker of Wilkesboro;
