Arie A. De Bruyn, aged 78 years, 2 months and 24 days, passed away at the home of his sister, Mrs. Cora Ver Dught, 713. Franklin Street, Pella, Iowa, on November 8, 1956.
He is survived by his son, Junior De Bruyn, and a sister, Mrs. Cora Ver Dught. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Minerva Pugh, on April 3, 1942.
Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning, November 10, 1956, at the Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home. The Rev. Everett Ward of the Baptist Church officiated and interment was in Oakwood Cemetery. Casket bearers were Arie Monster, Willian Van Dusseldorp, Minnekus Schakel, William Messemaker, Dick Ver Heul and John Klootwyk.
