Larry Odell Hill, 74, of Tomah died Monday December 9, 2013 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. He was born July 24, 1939 to Elden Thomas and Ora (Anding) Hill at Dodgeville. After graduating high school in 1957, Larry joined the U.S. Navy. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy from 1957 until 1960. Larry was a long-term resident at the VA who had become a friendly, familiar face to many departments. He had a happy go lucky personality. He was proud father, and grandfather, and always encouraged his children to go to church, and live their lives to the fullest. He is survived by 2 children, Tammi (John) Pollock and Tom Hill of Mpls, MN, 5 grandchildren, Theresa Pollock, Alisha Pollock, Carolyn Pollock, Tracy Soebbing and Isaiah Pollock, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers-in-law, Dick Turner and Don Schult both of Montfort, many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters MaDonna Turner and Pat Schult.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2013, 11:30 A.M. at United Methodist Church, Montfort, WI. Pastor Gary Benzschawel will officiate. Burial will be in the Highland Public Cemetery with military honors. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the church on Saturday from 10:30 A.M. until time of the service. The Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, Tomah, is assisting the family with arrangements
