Ruth Amerson Turner, 84, formerly of Macon, Georgia, died Monday in Atlanta, Georgia.
Ruth was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen H. Amerson.
Ruth's husband was Garnet Turner.
Survivors: daughter, Joan Turner of Atlanta; brothers and sisters, Dr. Royce Amerson, Helen Emerson and Reba Lanier, all of Macon, Billie Jones of Birmingham, Ala., Annelle Love of Pensacola, Fla., and Dr. George Amerson of Arkansas; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services: 3 p.m. today in Tattnall Square Baptist Church, Macon. The Rev. George D. Barnett and Mr. Henry Love will officiate.
