Mass of Christian Burial will be at Annunciation Catholic Church in Mayhew Lake for Rosaline V. Czech, age 93, who died on Monday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids. Rev. Thomas Becker will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rosaline was born on August 19, 1920 in St. Cloud to Frank and Catherine (Bednar) Sand.

She was united in marriage to Alphonse Czech on Sept. 8, 1942 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman. Rosaline was a homemaker and lived in Rice for most of her life. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church where she was a member of the Christian Mothers and Legion of Mary. Rosaline enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, bird watching, gardening, volunteering at the local food shelf, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a gentle, friendly, loving, nurturing person who was easy to get along with. Rosaline was well respected among her peers, and faith was very important to her.

Survivors include her daughters and son, Ellen (John) Cyrus of Tamarack, Arlene (Le Roy) Miller of Danbury, WI, Teresa (Francis) Moulzolf of Ramsey, Beatrice (Terry) Anderson of Ham Lake, Jo Ann (James) Hall of Cambridge, Gloria Nelson of Rice and Thomas (Nancy) Czech of Rice; sister-in-law, Virginia Sand of Texas; 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Al on Nov. 10, 1997; brothers, Wilfred, Richard, Arthur, Ervin and Francis; and sisters, Amelia Johnson, Delores Keiffer and JoAnn Zinken.
