Cora was the daughter of Wilburn F. & Ruth Ann Hutchinson Neely. She married Joseph A. Cheatham, the son of Elisha & Amanda Adams Cheatham, on July 1, 1903 in Garrard County. The couple were the parents of Richard McGraph, William Noland, Elisha Martin, Bessie Myrtle, James Henry, Amanda Ruth, Joseph A., Jr., Dolly Bea and Mildred L. Cheatham.

•Harrodsburg, Ky., Jan. 18-(Special)-Mrs. Cora Neeley Cheatham, 78, of Gentry Lane, widow of Joseph Cheatham, was pronounced dead on arrival at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning at Haggin Memorial Hospital here, with death attributed to an apparent heart attack. A native of Owen County, she was a member of Joseph Chapel Methodist Church.

Survivors are three sons, W. N. and Henry Cheatham, both of Mercer County, and Elisha Cheatham, Boyle County; three daughters, Mrs. Carl Case Sr., Junction City, Mrs. Albert Motley, Fayette County, and Mrs. John Upton, Knoxville, Tenn.; 28 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock on Thursday afternoon at Bruner-Slms-McClellan Funeral Home here by the Rev. Charles S. Perry. Burial will be in Spring Hill. Grandsons will serve as casketbearers.
