June Gerber, only daughter of Jacob, and Armeda Loos Gerber was born June 18, 1904, and departed this life February 16, 1982, age 57 years and 8 months. She was born in German township, Richland County, Illinois, in this community where she spent her entire life.

At an early age June made the good confession, was buried with her Lord in baptism, and united with the Prairie Hall Christian Church. She dedicated her life to Jesus and lived a consistent devoted life.

At the age of sixteen she was stricken with polio, and in a crippled condition, she so bravely faced life.

Her parents preceded her in death eleven years ago. She has since that time been a shining example of courage and determination to the entire community in which she lived.

She loved her Church and served as pianist, secretary and for several years prior to her death served as Church treasurer.

She was correspondent for two local papers. Folks over a large territory learned to look to her newsy items to help them keep in contact with old friends and neighbors.

She lived as if she was ever grateful for each day and it's blessings. Life to her was worth living.

She will be sadly missed in her Church and the community, where she has so many friends and admirers.

She leaves to mourn her passing one aunt, Mrs. Carrie Hart, several cousins and a host of friends.
