Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral chapel, and on Thursday prior to the services.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Watertown, SD.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Prairie Lakes Hospice, Codington County Cares or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Pallbearers will be Travis Foster, Terry Foster, Jay Meier, Brad Meier, Dan Beutow and Tyler Beutow.
Debra Kay Hanson was born on July 31, 1957 to Elmer and Lorraine (Stickler) Lind in Redwing, Minnesota. She grew up in Loveland, Colorado and graduated from high school in Loveland in 1975.
On May 28, 1983 she married Roger Hanson in Watertown, SD. They lived in Watertown and had two children, Ashley and Ian. Deb was a wife, mother and homemaker, and enjoyed staying at home to raise their children. One of her joys and passions in life was raising her granddaughter, Quinndalyn.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, fishing and camping, had a love for music and she enjoyed good conversation and people.
Deb is survived by her son, Ian Hanson and his girlfriend, Rachael Silveira of Denver, CO; her granddaughter, Quinndalyn Hanson of Watertown, SD; and her brother, Mark Lind of Taos, New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Ashley Hanson; and her stepmother, Isla Lind.
