James W. "Buss" Hall, 92 of Ripley went home to be with the Lord from his earthly home, surrounded by family, on Saturday, August 14, 2010.

He was born January 7, 1918 at Given a son of the late Adley and Jessie Hall. He worked for 16 years at Owens Illinois and retired from Kaiser Aluminum after 26 years of service. After retirement he continued his love of farming. He attended the Calvary United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years Mildred Elliott Hall; a daughter Ann Hall Sayre and her husband Orville; a Sister Betty Webb of Ripley; Grandchildren Lori Sayre Shuller (George) of St. Louis, Tammy Sayre Banks (Sean) of Ripley and James Sayre of Evans; Great grandchildren Ian Banks, Trae Shuller, Callan Banks, Jala Sayre and Jaden Sayre; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, brothers Woodrow, Harold, William and Wade Hall and a sister Gay Casto preceded him in death.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday August 17, 2010 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Rev. Charles Hicks officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Given.

Friends may call from 11 am until time of service on Tuesday.
