SOUTH BEND - Francis "Frank" DeBuysser, 82 passed away at 10:05am Thursday, August 30, 2012 in his residence. Frank was born on December 31, 1929 in South Bend to Alphonse and Mary (DePudyt) DeBuysser. He was employed by Studebaker, McCaffrey Electric and retired from All Phase Electric. On February 3, 1951 in South Bend he married the former Irene Heynssens who survives. Also surviving are a daughter Toni (Kevin) Swartz of South Bend; two sons Ric A. (Janet) DeBuysser and Randy (Elizabeth) DeBuysser both of South Bend; 5 grandchildren Eric, Jenell (Justin), Christopher (Stacey), John, and Elise; 2 great-grandchildren Meg and Preston and a sister Elsie Huys of South Bend. He was preceded in death by a brother Joe DeBuysser. Frank enjoyed boating and fishing on Lake Michigan with his family. He traveled with his wife Irene in their RV, camping and traveling throughout the country. Frank was always the life of the party. He was a wonderful story teller and loved to share jokes. His family meant everything to him including his dog, Rusty, that gave him so much enjoyment. Frank and Irene celebrated 61 years of marriage. He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
