KNOXVILLE - Joseph C. Anderson, Sr., 77, of Zirconia, died Saturday, March 18, 1995, in the home of a daughter.
He was a lifelong resident of Henderson County, a son of the late Lawrence A. and Hattie Ward Anderson, and the husband of Nell Hall Anderson, who died in 1991. He retired from Duke Power Company in 1977.
Survivors include one son, Joe Anderson of Charlotte; two daughters, Margaret Beasley of Greenville, S. C., and Pat Goan of Knoxville, Tenn; two brothers, John A. Anderson and Ray Anderson of Zirconia; one sister, Ellavee Beddingfield of Zirconia, and four grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 4 p.m. today in Shepherd's Church Street Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10 a. m. Monday in the Ward Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Henderson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p. m. today in the funeral home.
