Early Life: Shirley was born in Lehi, Utah, on April 9, 1925, to Blanche Olivia Hertell and Earl Joseph Roberts.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: In 1951, Shirley married Del Burt Hampton and had five children: Sherry Lee Bunker (Stephen), Kent Hampton, Augie Hampton, Steven Hampton and Tina Young (Scott). Her children and grandchildren were her whole life. She enjoyed playing cards and would play with her mom and sister every day for years. She would often knit and crochet with her neighbors, Ester Torrey and Doris Barnes. Shirley Rae Hampton passed away peacefully in her American Fork home on January 21, 2014. She was 88.
Survived By: Her daughter, Sherry Lee; son, Steven; and daughter, Tina; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Keith Roberts (Val); and many friends, family, and loved ones.
Preceded In Death By: Her husband, Del; sons, Kent Hampton and Augie Hampton; grandsons, G. Michael Kampros and DJ Laursen; and sister, JoAnn Zeeman.
