Catherine was born about 1633, probably in the Port Royal area. She married Francoise in 1651, in Port Royal, Acadie. They are the parents of the following:
1) Francoise (1652-1711)
2) Germain (1654-)
3) Marie (1657-)
4) Jeanne (1658-1735)
5) Catherine ( 1662-)
6) Francois (1663-)
7) Barnabe (1665-)
8) Andree (1667-)
9) Marie (1670-)

According to the 1671 Port Royal Census, Francois 50 was a farmer, Catherine 38, one married daughter - Francoise 18, Germain 16, Marie 14, Jeanne 13, Catherine 9, Francois 8, Barnabe 6, Andree 4, Marie 1-1/2. They had 4 cattle and 6 arpents of land.

She died in about 1672, but the exact year is unknown at this time.

DNA tests show that Catherine is probably the sister of Edmée Lejeune. Stephen A White says that while Catherine and Edmée are sisters, they are not the sisters of Pierre.

The following is per the Acadian Project:
"It is often written that Pierre Lejeune was Catherine and Edmée's father, and that they had a sibling with that same name, but this is not proven.

There is too much controversy with this family to state anything as a fact that cannot be proven by a reliable source."
