The Rev. Claude Lee Wright, 76, of Marietta died Wednesday.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Mayes Ward Funeral Home of Marietta with the Rev. Terry Southern officiating. Burial will be in Marietta Campground Cemetery.
Born in Acworth, Rev. Wright had lived in Marietta for the past 60 years. He was an ordained Baptist minister and was pastor at Post Oak Baptist Church in Marietta, Wildwood Baptist Church in Kennesaw and Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Forest Park. He was employed with the Brumby Chair Company and retired from Lockheed Georgia Co. in 1972 after 30 years of employment. He was a member of Hill Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Garner Wright, of Marietta; one daughter, Martha W. Cochran, of Smyrna; one son, Charles L. Wright, of San Diego, Calif.; three sisters, Eva W. Lawrence of Woodstock, Florence W. Wallace of Marietta and Emma W. Couey of Pine Lake; six grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces and nephews.
