ALVA H. DENISON

"A private cremation service for Alva Harrison Denison, 95, of Dayton, was held February 25th at the Sierra Crematory in Reno.

Mr. Denison died February 22nd in a Reno convalescent center. He was born December 21, 1888, in Mt. Lainsboro [McLeansboro], Illinois. Mr. Denison had lived in Nevada since 1938 and operated the Dayton Flea Market for several years. He also owned restaurants in Dayton, Carson City, Reno and Sparks.

His survivors include his sons, Logan and John, both of Dayton; and daughters, Virginia, of Carnegie, Oklahoma, and Jane Sanborn of Carson, California.

Inurement will be in the Dayton Cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements."
