Adolph William Rennolett, 78, of Peoria, formerly of Chillicothe, died on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at his daughter's home in Chillicothe.
Born Nov. 3, 1935, in Rock Island to Frank and Marie (Salter) Rennolett, he married Marilyn K. Hammer on July 29, 1961, in Peoria. She died July 16, 2010.
Surviving are his children, Anthony W. Rennolett of Chillicothe, Michael E. (Elizabeth) Rennolett of Peoria, Julie Seaver of Chillicothe and Timothy (Joanna) Rennolett of Peoria; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Also surviving is one brother, Frank (Faye) Rennolet of Wichita, Kan.
He was preceded in death by one son John Rennolett, one brother and one sister.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corp actively from 1954-1957. After discharge he served in the USMC Reserve.
He was retired from Caterpillar.
A funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Edward Catholic Church in Chillicothe. The Rev. Keith Walder will officiate. Burial will be in Chillicothe City Cemetery with military rites conducted. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
