Wednesday, April 2, 1902, at 1:40 p.m., Julia A. (ANDERS) ALEXANDER died at her home at Solsberry.

The deceased was born near Nashville, Indiana, May 11, 1844, being at the time of her death 57 years, 11 months and 22 days old. When a child she moved near Bloomfield, where she spent her girlhood days. She was married to John W. ALEXANDER May 7, 1867, to this union was born three sons and two daughters. Only three survive, the two oldest having died in infancy. The surviving ones are Amanda J. WELBORN, Walter and Mamie ALEXANDER. Besides these she leaves four grandchildren, one sister and a host of friends and neighbors to mourn their loss; her husband having preceded her to the better land four years ago. She has been a constant sufferer for a years, but she bore her sufferings patiently to the last, never being heard to mourn. She was conscious to the very last. She united with the M. E church several years ago and lived a faithful Christian life.

Funeral services were conducted at the home at Solsberry by Rev. ELLIS, assisted by Rev. WOODS, after which the remains were taken to the cemetery at Greene County chapel for burial. After a short service conducted by Rev. ELLIS, assisted by Rev. J. T. BREEDEN, all that was mortal was laid to rest by the side of her husband.
