Michael Ray Goff, 52, of Lorena, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014, at his residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 23, at St. Jerome Catholic Church. The rosary will be recited at 6 p.m., Wednesday, January 22, at St. Jerome, followed by a visitation with his family. Burial will follow in Robinson Cemetery under the direction of Pecan Grove Funeral Home.

Michael was born in Kansas City, Kansas, to Grover C. and Jean Goff. He attended St. Pius V Catholic Grade School in Pasadena and graduated from Pasadena High School. He then attended Texas A&M University, graduating with a degree in agronomy and developing a life-long loyalty for everything Aggie - even his casket will be maroon. Mike read voraciously, especially everything about theology and church history. He attended St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Waco. In his free time Mike loved playing golf and riding motorcycles.

Survivors include his mother, Jean Goff, of Lorena; father, Grover C. Goff, of Muskogee, OK.; brothers, Steve Goff, of Lorena, and fiancée, Rhonda Reiman, of Hewitt, and Rick Goff, of Leroy; sister, Lynda Turman and husband, Ricky, of Robinson; nephew, Kyle Goff; nieces, Christi Linder and husband, David, Amanda and Lyndsey Turman, and Meagan and Shelby Goff; three grand-nephews; two grand-nieces; other relatives and many friends.
