Winona Bostron, 80, passed away Jan. 15 in Cheyenne.

She was born to Charles and Doris (Bahr) Gipson on March 26, 1933, in Smithfield, Neb. She moved to Cheyenne in her early teens. She married Donald Bostron on Sept. 5, 1950, in Fort Collins, Colo. They were sealed in the Provo Temple on July 5, 1975.

She worked as a tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service, though her true passion was working in the F.E. Warren Air Force Base Civil Service security and missile program. She loved having fun and was young at heart, enjoying music, crafts, hunting, camping, fishing, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by daughters, Sandy Ostler (Brian) and Jennifer Clark (Bo Arnell); grandchildren, Chelsea Callais (Shaun), Chantal, Tyler and Camille Ostler, Nichole and K.C. Clark; great-grandchildren, Caden and Shiloh Callais, Dakota and Aleesha Clark, and Savannah Eslick; sister, Naomi Gipson; and numerous family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sister, Getha Sherman; and brothers, Vernon, Louie and Gradon Gipson.
