Gilda Saunders Cramer, 84, of Eugene, formerly of Cottage Grove, died Sept. 2, 2011 from age related causes.
She was born Oct. 30, 1926 in San Fernando, Calif. to Joe and Enna (Provence) Parnell.
Gilda graduated from Bonita High School in California and attended two years of college.
She married Carl B. Saunders who she was married to for 35 years. She later married Fred Stacy Cramer.
Mrs. Cramer was a seamstress, a teacher’s aid for South Lane School District and also a homemaker.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing and crafts. She was a member of the Cottage Grove Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by three sons, a daughter,nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Cramer, on July 19, 1999, by a grandson, Chase Saunders, two sisters and one brother.
A private memorial was held.
