FLORENTINE WUNSCH

Mrs. Florentine Wunsch died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. A. Koch in this city last Sunday.
Decedent was born in Germany in 1838. After her marriage to Michael Wunsch, which took place in Germany the couple emigrated from Germany to Canada in 1861, but a year later came to the United States and settled in Manitowoc County. After her husband's death several years ago she took up her abode at her daughter's home. She has been in ailing health for some time.
She is survived by six sons and three daughters. The sons are Carl and Gust of Collins, Mike of Brillion, August of Canada, William and Fred of San Francisco, Cal. The daughters are Mrs. Frank Keasen, Shawano, Mrs. C. Melenburg, Manitowoc, Mrs. W. A. Koch, Brillion.
The daughters who preceded her are Mrs. Caroline Defke and Mrs. Lena Krueger both of Collins. There are also mourning her loss, 38 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also 1 sister, Mrs. Christian Schroeder of Alexandria, Minn.
The funeral took place yesterday from the Friedens Church in our city, Rev. Bizer conducting the funeral services. The pall bearers were Wm. Heimke, Aug. Behnke, Robt. Mahnke, Carl G. Kanter, Bust Seehawer and Herman Koch.

Aug. Wunsch of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, arrived here Sunday afternoon to
visit his aged mother, brothers and sisters. He had not seen them in twenty-four
years or more. Mr. Wunsch has been travelling and visiting different states in
our Union since last November.
