"Clarence E. Hoffman, 80, of 3916 Cleveland-Massillon rd., retired Goodrich payroll and shipping clerk, died Saturday at Akron General Medical Center after a long illness.
A native of Orrville, Mr. Hoffman lived in Akron 26 years and Norton 35 years. He worked for Goodrich 34 years and was a member of the 20-Year Club, URW Local 5 and belonged to Goss Memorial Church 44 years.
He leaves his wife Clara; a son, Howard, Canal Fulton; a daughter, Pearl, Norton, and two sisters, Mrs. Della Amstutz, Kidron, and Mrs. Zulla Beck, Orrville.
