Dorothy I. Hazen 86, of Denton, Kansas passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Hiawatha Hospital.

Dorothy was born on November 21, 1927 in Denton, Kansas to Aaron E. & Maude E. (Hall) Rader.

She was a member of the Denton United Methodist Church & UMW both of Denton & the Eastern Star of Wathena.

Dorothy married Harlan Hazen on December 26, 1948 in Denton, Kansas. He preceded her in death in 1985.

Dorothy was also preceded in death by her parents, 9 sisters & 2 brothers.

Survivors: daughter, Dianne Holzhey (Charlie) of Bendena, Kansas Cindy Staudenmaier (Daniel) of Houston, Texas 5 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren numerous nieces & nephews

Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Denton UMC, Denton, Kansas Visitation: 1 hour prior to service at the church. Friends may call after 12:00 P.M. Sunday at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Troy, Kansas. Burial: Denton Cemetery, Denton, Kansas
