Charlotte "Lottie" Bradley, eldest daughter of John Anderson Bradley and the former Miss Helena Zubly Mills, was born in the bounds of Old Purity Presbyterian Church in Chester, South Carolina on May 19th 1846.

Lottie Bradley married John Calvin Flenniken after the Civil War and was blessed with the following children:
Helen Pressly (1869-1872)
Warren Bradley (1871-1871)
Caroline McMaster (1872-1936)
Samuel Mills (1874-1940)
Alexander Quay (1876-1964)
Jane (1878-1946)
Mary E. (1884-1933)
