Daughter of Carl B. and Hilma V. Franzen Nelson. Married Eugene M. Kyle in Rockford on February 3, 1945. Survived by her daughter; special friend; two cousins; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband on February 15, 2007, her parents, and her son-in-law, Don Wurtlin. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January, 20, 2014, in Zion Lutheran Church. Visitation from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., and from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service at the church on Monday.
