Elsie P. Goins, 85, 395 Fisher Ridge Road, Milton, Ky., died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, at her residence.

She was born May 14, 1920, in Columbus, the daughter of Charles and Inez Mable Arbuckle Everhart. She was a homemaker and worked in a factory in Indianapolis for several years. She was baptized in Ebenezer Methodist Church of Vernon and attended Milton United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and swinging in her swing, and was an avid card player.

Surviving are two sons, Tom Evans of Milton and Roy Evans of Grove City, Ohio; two sisters, Helen Coons of Indianapolis and Ruth Trowbridge of Commiskey; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one infant son, Robert Dean Evans, July 16, 1949; six sisters, Dorothy L. Everhart, Hazel L. Everhart, Reba Mae Everhart, Julia "LaVerne" Sipe, Florence R. Cardinal and Agnes M. Oliver; six brothers, Carl Everhart, Paul L. Everhart, Howard R. Everhart, James E. Everhart, Bernard Raymond Everhart and Charles Everhart.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lytle Funeral Chapel, with burial in Grandview Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.
