TAVARUS, FL – Albert William Goforth, 85, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014.
Mr. Goforth was born July 19, 1928 in Madison County. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Philetus and Lola Martin Goforth; sisters, Allie Haynes, Pearl Payne and Mary Kate Roberts; and brothers, Edmond and P.V. Goforth.
Surviving are his sisters, Geneva Elliott of Moshim, Tenn.; brother, Robert Goforth (Maggie) of Taylor, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Friday at Madison Funeral Home. A Graveside service will follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, with his nephew, Ed Goforth officiating.
