Mary Missouri (Hamrick) Wise was the daughter of James M. Hamrick and Vianna Sims. She was wife of James S. Wise. They were married in 1860. Her obituary was posted in the Carrollton County Times on March 4, 1881, and can be viewed at: http://www.usarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm. (added to Ancestry.com, courtesy BamaDale). The obituary said she died after a long illness and was a faithful Baptist, member of the Midway Macedonia Baptist Church. It concluded with the following: "But alas, she has been called from her labor on earth to that heaven of rest. She leaves a husband, six children, five sisters, one brother and her aged parents to mourn her loss, but we trust their loss is her eternal gain; therefore they weep not as those that have no hope." It did not say what cemetery she was to be buried in. Her husband (link below) died in 1900 and was buried in the Midway Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. So, I suspect that is where she is buried, but I have not found her grave site. Please contact me if you know.
