She is survived by her brother, Harry Mathis, her children, Mike Brannen, David Brannen, Brooke Crawley and Brent McCallick and her grandchildren, Alex, Travis, Megan, Hugh, Kate and Sarah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh E. "Mac" McCallick, her sister, Juliet Mathis, and her brothers, Edgar and Tom.
Betty was an active member of the Edna Presbyterian Church until she moved to Austin to be close to family. She was also active in clubs, was an avid bridge player and traveled all over the world. She was a great cook and a fine lady. She will be missed by her many friends and family who loved her greatly.
Services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 12:00 at the Arbor at Memory Gardens in Edna, Texas.
