Isabelle Catherine Linenberger, April 7, 1911 - May 18, 2010.
Isabelle was born in Kansas and moved to Los Angeles at a young age. She was a devoted wife and beloved mother.
She was well known for her outstanding catering to clients from Santa Barbara to San Clemente including foreign dignitaries, movie stars, and sports legends.
Isabelle will always be remembered for her generosity, thoughtfulness, integrity and creativity shown in so many ways besides her most gifted talent of cooking. She always had some special culinary treat to share and loved to cook up a meal for anyone who should arrive at her home.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 24th at St. Brendan Catholic Church, Los Angeles. Committal will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. May 25th at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5835 W. Slauson Ave., Culver City.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, 11999 Chalon Road, Los Angeles, 90049 or to St. Brendan's Catholic Church, 310 So. Van Ness Ave., Los Angeles, 90010. Holy Cross Mortuary (310) 836-5500.

She is survived by her brother Francis J. Karlin '38-'40C & sisters Sr. Lois Karlin CSA '31 & Teckla (Karlin) Werth.
She was preceded in death by brothers Alvin Karlin, Benno Karlin '34, Fr. Paulinus Karlin '35-'37C O.F.M. Cap., Eugene Karlin '40, Wilfric Karlin '43, Marne Karlin '45, Cletus Karlin '48 and sisters Sr. Mary Catherine Karlin CSA '25, Sr. Marcella Karlin CSA '27, Sr. Anne Karlin CSA '45 & Sr. Francis Ann Karlin.
