Our beloved Kazuko Mori passed away on January 12, 2014 in South Jordan, Utah.

She was born January 28, 1927 in Lewiston, Utah to Soichi and Michi Iwamoto.

She spent an active, hardworking childhood on the family dairy farm. She graduated from North Cache High School.

She moved to the "big" city of Salt Lake, boarding at the Beehive House. She studied to become a beautician and later in life a seamstress and a medical assistant.

Here in Salt Lake City, she met and fell in love with Nobuo Mori. They were married on April 22, 1949; later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on August 10, 1981.

Kazuko enjoyed many church calling and served over twenty-four years as a temple worker. She enjoyed many family visits with sons in California, Asia, and Europe.

Her optimistic and positive outlook as well as her delicious cooking will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Ann) and Gordon (Aya); grandchildren, Matthew (Gabrielle), Andy, Christopher, and Blake; and two very cute great-grandchildren.
