John H. Fletcher and Olive Strong were married at Calgary, Alberta on Nov. 6, 1900.

J. H. Fletcher, Pioneer, Dies
A pioneer resident of Calgary and a well-known business man in the east end of the city, John Henry Fletcher, 77, of 2232 37th St. S.W., died in General Hospital Wednesday after a lengthy illness.
Born in Port Hope, Ont., he came to Calgary in 1890 where he resided since.
He was a partner in Fletcher's Grain Elevator, and later the Suburban Market. At the time of his retirement in 1945 he was proprietor of Fletcher's Garage.
He was an active member of St. George's Lodge, IOOF, and Trinity United Church.
Surviving are his wife, Olive D., Calgary; four daughters, Mrs. Eric Shore, Calgary; Mrs. A. M. Mahoney, Champion; Mrs. H. D. Redding, Lethbridge; Mrs. John Nibogie, Red Deer; a son, J. Gordon Fletcher, Windsor; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Fletcher, Calgary; and three brothers, Edward, Airdrie, Fred T. and Bert, Calgary.
