Paul Forest Yates, age 78 of Lawrenceburg, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at his residence. He was the son of the late Harvey and Hazel Lou Barr Yates. He was a member of New Liberty Christian Church, and was a heavy equipment operator for Elbert Stinnett Asphalt Sealing for 40 years. He was a member of Beaver Creek Lodge #335, and the Order of Easter Star Hamilton Chapter #293.

He is survived of his wife of 49 years, Rosella Jamison Yates; 4 daughters, Becky (Randy) Stoddard, Renee (Steve) Morris, and Melissa (Mike) Gay, all of Lawrenceburg, and Virginia "Tootie" (Larry) Brown, Waddy; 7 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Shouse officiating. Burial will follow in the Highview Cemetery. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday. Eastern Star Service and Masonic Service will be 7:00 P.M. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 663 Teton Trail, Frankfort, KY 40601 Casketbearers will be Derek Brown, Mackenzie Morris, Adam Gay, Gary Stinnett, Danny Stinnett, and Aaron Baker. Honorary bearers will be New Liberty Church Men's Sunday School Class.
