Mrs. Hazel Lou Yates, 79, formerly of Lick Skillet Road, died Saturday at Heritage Hall. She was the widow of Harvey Yates. She was a member of Fairmount Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Paul Yates, Lawrenceburg; one brother, Orlin Barr, Louisville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday at Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield, officiated by Lynn White. Burial was in Fairmount Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers were Stephen Clark, Steve Morris, Larry Brown, Mike Gay, Asa Royalty and Martin Mattingly.
