YATES, Clarence, departed this life at the age of 89 years at 5:15 p.m. Wed., Dec. 22, 1971, at the Kentucky Baptist Hospital. His residence was 10108 Thixton Ln. He was the beloved husband of Myrtie Ellen Burgin Yates. The devoted father ot Mrs. Odis (Nellie) Montgomery, Mrs. Thelma Brown, Mrs. Reo (Hallle Mae) Adams, Harvey, Clyde, Sanford, Kenneth, and Francis Yates. Also survived by 24 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sat., Dec. 25 at the McAfee Funeral Home, 3928 Bardstown Rd. Interment in Highview Cemetery, Chaplin, Ky.
