KERRVILLE - Mrs. Ervin "Maurine" Hardin, 87, of Kerrville, passed away Friday, Sept. 10,1999, at a Kerrville hospital. Mrs. Hardin, a resident of Kerrville since 1928, was born on Sept. 28,1911, in De Queen, Ark., to Otto R. Hunt and Clara Garland Manning Hunt. Mrs. Hardin married W. Survivors include her husband, Ervin Hardin of Kerrville; mother, Mrs. Clara Hunt of Kerrville; one daughter, Carole Richardson and husband, Bob Richardson of New Braunfels; two sons, Dale E. Hardin Sr. and wife, Pamela Hardin, of Kerrville, and Melburn H. Hardin and wife,; Carol Hardin, of Visalia, Calif.; two sisters, Betty Daniel of Kerrville, and Aileen Jahnke of Shreveport, La.; one brother, John W. Hunt of Kerrville; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, at Trinity Baptist Church, 800 Jackson Rd., Kerrville, with the Rev. Louis Parks officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
