Gordon, Ga- Charlie Claxton West, 77, of Gordon passed away Friday night at his residence. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The Rev. Len Woodard will officiate. Entombment will be in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mr. West was born in Rentz, Georgia the son of the late James Evans West and the late Susie Matrice Ellis West.
He attended Lanier High School. He was a retired Batallion Chief from the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department after 27 years of service. Mr. West was a member of the Baptist faith and a member of the Warner Robins Moose Club.
Mr. West is survived by his wife, . . . of Gordon 2 sons; . . . of Gray, and . . . of Gordon, 2 grandchildren, . . . of Gray, 3 sisters, . . . of Melbourne, Florida, . . . of Carrollton, and . . . of Macon.
