William Andrew ("W.A.") Cleveland was born to Grover Washington and Mamie Ree (Lunsford) Cleveland. (His parents and infant sister are buried in Bellview Cemetery in Miller County, GA., along with a number of other relatives) He married Guy Elizabeth (Catrett) Buckhalter. He and "Johnnie" (Guy Elizabeth's nickname) had two children-1 girl (1950) and 1 boy (1956). He was drafted into the army towards the end of World War II and was honorably discharged when the war ended. W.A. and Johnnie loved to fish, garden and spend time with family. He was a very hard working man and a man of his word. He died in the Veterans Hospital in Tuskegee, Alabama while being treated for a heart condition.
