The body of Samuel F Massey who died in Columbia Tuesday night, was brought to Fort Mill last night and was this morning buried in New Unity Cemetery, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. D. H. Attaway. Mr. Massey was 69 years if age and was a native of Lancaster, although the greater part of his life was spent in Fort Mill and the community.
He was a veteran of the War Between the States and several years ago entered the Soldiers' Home in Columbia. He has two daughters surviving him, Miss Mary Massey of Lancaster and Miss Frances Massey of Rock Hill, and a large number of near relatives in this community.
