VERONA – James A. Blanchard, 62, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, in an automobile accident. He was born Feb. 2 1951 to John Henry and Mary Blanchard. He was a self-employed mechanic and loved cars.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, at Second Baptist Church in Verona with the Rev. Larry Stone officiating. Burial will be at Verona Cemetery. Agnew and Sons Funeral Home of Verona is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Ebonie Blanchard of Verona; one son, Perez Dillard of Tupelo; one sister, Bertha McCrady of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, J.D. Blanchard of Green Bay, Wis.; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today in Verona.
