BRUNSWICK - Nora E. Adams, 82, of Farmington, died Thursday morning, Jan. 9, 2014, at Parkview Adventist Medical Center in Brunswick. She was born on May 14, 1931, in Rangeley, a daughter of Harry and Lucy Ellis. Nora attended Farmington and Wilton schools and worked locally in shoe shops and Forster Manufacturing in East Wilton.
On Feb. 7, 1948, she married Richard Adams in Wilton. Nora enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, being in the outdoors, fishing and time spent with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard, on May 1, 2006; two sons, Ricky Adams in 1954, and Bobby Adams in 1975; and siblings Ellen Cole, Ronald Haley, Madeline Kennedy, Mae Fairbanks, Myrtle Parisi, Marjorie Bridgham, June Willey and Pete Ernst.
