Lois, with her Mother Matilda and sister Marcelene, was raised in Lime Twp, Cerro Gordo Co IA on her grandparents farm. As a waitress she met Richard James Caldwell in Mason City IA and married in Ft Lauderdale FL. They traversed the country many times. Dick was a musician and a part of a trio, The Tune Criers, with two brothers Joe and George Hazdra and their wives and families. Lois loved meeting new people; many of which became lifelong friends.
