JAMES H. NUGENT

DIED – At Chilton, in this county on Saturday the 26th, James H. Nugent, aged 25 years,.
"Death loves a shining mark," and in this instance one of our most intelligent and promising young men, has been taken from us. James was the soul of honor, an had the confidence, respect and good will of all who had the good fortune to be acquainted with him. To his grief stricken relatives, we tender our sincere and heartfelt sympathy, and hope that Time, the Great Healer, will alleviate their sorrow. He was buried at his father's homestead on Monday, with Masonic honors, by the Freemasons of Menasha and Neenah.

"Our Father," Thou in Thy infinite power,
Can'st see through time to come.
Thou knowest the best, the most fitting hour,
To call the spirit home.

Tho'our bleeding hearts are filled with pain,
Through our loss he hath won—
A crown in Heaven, the soul's highest gain,
For aye, "Thy will be done."
