She first married George Albert Kirby I (1895-1952) on August 3, 1917 at Cumberland, Allegany County, Maryland.
They had six children:

MRS. ANNA KIRBY DEWITT
Mrs. Anna E. Kirby DeWitt, 75, who resided with her son, George A. Kirby, 12 Mullin Street, was dead on arrival Saturday at Memorial Hospital.
A native of Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Joshua E. and Catherine (Wolfe) Lewis and was the widow of Glenn DeWitt. She had resided in Florida the past 18 years.
Also surviving are another son, Ronald L. Kirby, Reisterstown; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Fees, San Diego, Calif.; a brother, William Lewis, city; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Mc-
Gann, Baltimore, and Mrs. June Galen, city; 11 grandchildren and three great-grand children.
The body is at the Scarpell Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 until 9 p. m.
A service will be conducted there tomorrow at 1 p.m. Rev. Dennis L. Upton will officiate and interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be George Kirby, Jerry Kirby, John Fees, Charles Willison, William Lease and Clyde Mann.
