Grace Eilar, 62, Dies; Funeral To Be Friday
Grace M. Eilar, 62, wife of Jesse H. Eilar, of 1932 Broad St. died at her home last night. She had been in ill health for 2 years. Her husband formerly was principal of the New Castle Junior High School.
Mrs. Eilar lived most of her life in New Castle. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons: Lothair Eilar of New Castle and Howard Eilar of Anderson; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Cassidy of Richmond; two granddaughters: Susan and Mary Jane of Richmond; and an uncle, George Wentworth of Hartford City.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10:30 at the Main and Sons Funeral Home. Rev. George Greer will conduct the services. Burial will be in the South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call at Main and Sons Funeral Home after 7 p.m. tonight.

Surviving are two sons: Lothair Eilar of New Castle and Howard Eilar of Anderson; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Cassidy of Richmond; a brother, Alton Schepman of Richmond; two uncles: Charles Schepman of Indianapolis and George Wentworth of Hartford City; and two granddaughters: Susan and Mary Jane Eilar of Anderson.
*Marriage records show Grace was the daughter of William and Ida (Wentworth) Schepman.
