David M. Hurd, 44, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 of cardiac arrest.
He was born in Anderson on July 14,1969 to Max and Joyce (Harp) Hurd.
He was employed at Beaty Auto Service and was a certified locksmith.
Left to cherish his memory is his father, Max Hurd of Phelps, WI; brother Neil (Becky) Hurd of Logansport, IN; sister Susan (Tom) Gourley of Fort Wayne, IN; aunt, Marilyn Tracy of Anderson, IN; Ava and Ella his nieces, Bobbie and Danniel to whom he was a devoted father and his special friend, Ericka Schmidt.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Hurd and his grandmother, Irene Harp.
He was an accomplished landscape painter and shared these treasured gifts with those he loved. He loved music and played the guitar. He made his own fishing lures and always looked forward spending time fishing in Northern Wisconsin. David was so special to his family, friends and his beloved dog, Cooper. He will be deeply missed.
