Madeline Daniel, age 82, passed away on January 4, 2014. She was born in Tennessee to Albert Dyer and Mary (Holder) Dyer and had eight brothers and sisters. She married Floyd Daniel on September 18, 1949, and a few years later they moved to Michigan, where they raised their family. Madeline retired from Superior Coating and was a member of Graceway Baptist Church in Ypsilanti. She loved to crochet, quilt, work puzzles, grow flowers, and to feed the birds and the squirrels; but more than anything, she loved her family, and we loved her.
Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Daniel, son Floyd Allen ("Al") Daniel, grandson Eric Daniel, and great-grandson Troy Daniel Smith. She is survived by son Paul Daniel, daughter Elaine (Daniel) Bovender, and eight grandchildren: Paul Daniel Jr., April Hall, Jeremy Daniel, Barbara "Sissy" Smith, Amy Herald, Tammy Bovender, Julie Brinson, and Angela Daniel, and also 14 great-grandchildren.
