Harvey Wooten, 95, of Wister died Tuesday, September 21,, 2004, in Poteau. He was born August 13, 1909, in Booneville. He was a state park employee, a member of First Baptist Church in wister and the Masonic Lodge, and was the widower of Ruby Wooten.
Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Wister with burial at Mount View Cemetery in Glendale, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He is survived by three daughters, six sons, 30 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
